Then import in QuickBooks Desktop: Banking → Bank Feeds → Import Web Connect (.qfx/.qbo) file
How to use this file in QuickBooks Desktop
Work on a backup. Run File → Back Up Company first; imports are easiest to undo on a copy of the company file.
- In QuickBooks Desktop, open the Banking menu and choose Bank Feeds → Import Web Connect (.qfx/.qbo) file.
- Select the .qfx file you downloaded from this tool.
- Choose the bank or credit card account the transactions belong to, or let QuickBooks match it, and set the account type when prompted.
- Review the imported transactions in the Bank Feeds window and match them against the records already in QuickBooks.
- Reconcile the account to confirm the ending balance agrees with your statement.
